This review is long overdue. I have been going to this place for years now and I always appreciate the great service. Dr. Nartea has worked on a couple of procedures such as fills and a crown and always takes good care of you. He is also very professional, funny, and provides great quality of care. He lets you know beforehand what needs to be done and what the procedures are like. He is also very informative with any questions or concerns regarding my mouth and teeth, which I greatly appreciate. His assistant Max, is also amazing as well. They both work great as a team and makes you feel well taken care of and most importantly make you feel comfortable throughout the whole process. It is always a pleasure working with both of them and all the staff at Seward Park Family Dental. I strongly recommend Dr.Nartea’s services .

Dr. Nartea and his assistant Max were really great. My initial exam was thorough and Dr. Nartea explained I needed a cap for a very damaged tooth. I never had one before so he explained what it involved, step by step. It took two visits and they took a lot of care to adjust the permanent cap to ensure a perfect bite.
I also needed four fillings. When Dr. Nartea suggested anesthetic for these, I asked if it was necessary since I really hate having my face numb. We discussed how much pain there might be and I decided to skip. As expected, there was a little discomfort, which I was okay with. Another dentist might have played it safe and said "just take the stupid anesthetic" but I deeply appreciated being able to make an informed decision about it.
Besides doing fantastic work, they are great at "checking in" with people to make sure they understand the care they're receiving, and to ask if they have any questions. I'm looking forward to returning for some much needed cleaning.
As a footnote, the office has their safety procedures for COVID-19 down pat. They ask about any recent potential symptoms; patients wait in their cars until a chair is ready; all the staff have masks; assistants have face shields; they take your temperature and you're asked to wash your hands; there are ventilation devices by chairs. It felt extremely safe.

Dr. Nartea is great! The office is updated with their PPE. Natalie the Hygienist did a great job on my cleaning. She's very thorough and efficient. My teeth feels very clean! Great office!

I have been going to Seward Park Dental for over 10 years. I allow doctor Lin and Nartea to perform my cleanings and procedures. They both are very professional and gentle. The hygienist are very sweet and very good with kids. They basically charmed my son into letting them clean his teeth at about 2.5 yo. He’s 5 now and isn’t intimidated to get his teeth cleaned. The receptionists are very organized. Overall they run a smooth operation and everyone is very kind.

Seward Park Family Dental is a great little dental office in Seattle. I drive all the way from Bellingham just to go here for their great service. The office is also only about 8 minutes from the ID, so it's also a perfect excuse for me to swing by Uwajimaya for my favorite groceries and try out local restaurants for a meal afterwards.
I recently went in for my first cleaning in two years and to be honest, it was probably the most dirty my teeth have ever been! I was worried I'd be judged for my recently poor dental health (I was traveling overseas for the past year in countries where I couldn't drink tap water to clean my teeth), but they didn't make me feel bad about it at all. I left feeling very positive and hopeful that I can take better care of my teeth.
Dr. Nartea has a very gentle hand which makes going to the dentist a lot less scary. I will likely be getting some preventative care to avoid some cavities this next year and I'm not even worried as I know I'll be well taken care of by Dr. Nartea and the Seward Park Family Dental team!

Dr. Nartea did some substantial work in my mouth, requiring several sessions. He carefully showed me what he was doing at each stage, was sensitive to my pain threshold, and often inquired about whether I had additional questions or concerns. The work itself, which he performed with his assistant, Max, was performed gently and meticulously, and I couldn't be happier with the ultimate outcome. And, by the way, his pricing was very fair. I strongly recommend his services.
Dr. Lin was fantastic. Inviting someone into your mouth with a drill is never a pleasant experience, and he made it as simple and painless as possible. Highly recommended.
My favorite dentist office ever! Dr Lin is incredible as are the other staff. Overall 5 star experience in scheduling (incl text check-ins and confirmations), warmness, covid precautions, and of course dental service.

Dr. Nartea saved my life. I came in with a tooth ache that I've been putting aside for a long time. I've always been scared and terrified of the dentist but Dr. Nartea and his team took that fear away. Everyone I came across was so helpful and welcoming and that made my visit even better. He was so calm and talked me through the whole procedure! He periodically asked me how I was doing and little did I know I was all finished. He's so caring and makes sure you're comfortable the whole entire time. if you are nervous about dental work, this is definitely the place to be. You will be in good hands. I am so happy I found this place and very very thankful that I can now use my entire mouth to eat!! I highly recommend Dr. Nartea and his team!

I had to get a filling where an old filling had fallen out. It was small so they said I would not need Novocain. I was worried about pain but also worried about getting Novocain because it usually hurts me a lot. Dr. Nartea talked with me about it and said he would go slow and I could tell him if it hurt too much without novocain. As we proceeded, it hurt a bit so we talked about doing novocain. Ultimately, decided against it and he very kindly changed drill bits to a less intense one. It ended up not hurting at all and I was glad to have skipped novocain. The whole process took no more that 20 minutes. But best of all, I felt respected and well-cared for. Everything you could want in a dentist!
In the last 3 months I have had 2 wisdom teeth removed and 2 fillings. Dr.Nartea is very quick and professional and the team there is very nice. I would recommend this office to anyone looking for dental work.
I'm so delighted with Dr. Lin and everyone else in his practice. You can tell that they're like a fun family. I suppose as with any family they have their ups and downs behind the scenes but their love for one another comes through to everyone with their attitudes, smiles, and treatment.

I love this place. Seriously. While I think Dr. Lin is great (friendly, quick, warm, informative), my true love affair is with Dolores.
Dolores is the most wonderful dental hygienist (and person) ever. My sister had raved about her after I had complained about my hygienist shaming me like I was a child for not flossing. Dolores does not do this! I repeat- SHE WILL NOT SHAME YOU FOR CHOOSING HOW YOU CARE FOR YOURSELF. That officially makes her the unicorn of dental hygienists. I’m not saying she won’t tell you to floss, she will- but she’s NICE about it. She even went so far as to introduce me to this WONDERFUL cardamom dental floss!
She’s friendly and communicative about everything she’s doing and why. She checks in with you on a regular basis while telling you wonderful stories about her mamminals. It’s like hanging out with your friend while getting your mouth worked on AND she’s super gentle. I had, what felt like, a mild panic attack on my last visit and felt safe and cared for the entire time.
Seriously, if you want to feel like you’re at home while you get your dental work done, come see these folks. They won’t disappoint.
